Changing human behavior depends upon changing ones consciousness, which can be greatly effected by spiritual chanting with or without music. The mental repetition of and idea with feeling and concentration can aid in reshaping the world you live in both the inner and the outer world. Time and effort win the day!
The Master said; “A master bestows the divine experience of cosmic consciousness when his disciple, by meditation, has strengthened his mind to a degree where the vast vistas would not overwhelm him. The experience can never be given through one’s mere intellectual willingness or open- mindedness. Only adequate enlargement of consciousness by yoga practice and devotional bhakti can prepare the mind to absorb the liberating shock of omnipresence. It comes with a natural inevitability to the sincere devotee. His intense craving begins to pull at God with an irresistible force. “
Note; From then on, the disciple no longer depends upon the master and repeats this experience at his own leisure.
In the Guru -disciple relationship, the guru shows the devotee from the beginning how to achieve true freedom in every way.
Obedience to the Guru is never a “blind”experience. It is both scientific and clear in both reason and feelings.

Paramahansa Yogananda said; “Once a man gave some olives to another who had never seen olives, and said, “These have a lot of oil in them. “This person cut open the fruit but could see no oil . Then his friend showed him how to squeeze the olives in order to extract the oil from the pulp. So it is with God. Everything in the universe is saturated with His presence – the twinkling of the stars, the rose, the song of the bird, our minds. His being[reality] permeates everything, everywhere. But one has to metaphorically “squeeze” God out of His material concealment.”

This is just how tricky the mind is to us. We naturally imagine that to see what is in something you can just open it up.
Yet with microscopic substances or invisible energies this does not work so easily. We must now use other approaches, tools, and techniques. This is where the one sided intellectual and the one sided emotional persons often fail. Patience and persistence are also needed at times.
These alone are not only unbalanced in approaches but they lack the proper tools and/or methodology and skills and openness of mind to reach accurate conclusions. That is because the ego keeps repeating that we already know what we don’t know.
In this case one had to squeeze and compress instead of dissecting and opening up to reveal the contents. Here’s where the science of Yoga Meditation comes in –
it perfects and intensifies our powers of concentration while steadying the mind
to see a clearer image of anything we wish to understand. It gives us a balalnced view of our subject.
It also removes all that trauma we call sin. It takes us on an inward journey to reality and away from
the dream world of material relativity. We become sane and whole, and one with Reality/God consciousness/
Otherwise houses just get built on sand – a foundation that will eventually crumble.
Oh! Everything looks great Now!

In a handwritten note titled Kriya Yoga (click the WRITTEN link to see photos of handwriting), Paramahansaji expressed these thoughts to be conveyed to new initiates about the close association between KRIYA, SRF AND THE LINE OF GURUS:
“This is not the end of your relationship with SRF or Kriya Yoga—but the beginning.
Keep contact with headquarters &you will be linked with the Masters, by which salvation is reached quickly…Some take Kriya Yoga and become fully satisfied and forget all about the link of the masters—
they will never reach God.”
“Kriya Yoga is the fastest airplane route to God, but it has to be piloted by the gurus—SRF teachings regularly received.”
This is an excerpt from an interview with Sri Daya Mata by Saurabb Bhattacharya for “Life Positive,” a magazine in India, that was in the SRF Magazine, Fall 1999:
Q; Some people are claiming their ancestry to Sri Yukteswar and Lahiri Mahasaya, are teaching Kriya Yoga in the West. Please comment.
Daya Mata replies; “Receiving Kriya Yoga is more than obtaining a set of instructions; it means forming a sacred bond between one’s soul and the guru sent by God to lead one back to Him– for it is when practiced within the auspices of that holy relationship that Kriya can fully impart its blessings.”
And a person’s choice of guru is a completely individual matter between that devotee and God; it is not for anyone else to comment on. What we tell people is that if they wish to enter the guru-disciple relationship with Paramahansa Yogananda, then the YSS/SRF teaching is the way to do so. He promised that he and his paramgurus would guide and guard the spiritual progress of all who receive Kriya initiation through the society he himself established for this purpose, if they keep in tune through faithful practice of the teachings.” END>>>>
Notes by PYislove; This edition of Paramahansa Yogananda’s classic AUTOBIOGRAPHY OF A YOGI with the orange cover is published by Self-Realization Publishers. Yogananda’s publishers. It represents many updated changes that were done by Yogananda himself and his editors in chief according to His directions. It is the only complete and most accurate edition clearly representing the Master’s final visions for His great spiritual legacy. Self-Realization Fellowship Publishers are the sole heir and copyright owners authorized by Yogananda to publish and own his works. He established a publications council to approve of all completed works before publication.
The master also left written and verbal instructions stating that He wanted all this work centered from SRF Mother Center.

was for true Kriya Yoga devotees support and work
through His only org Self-Realization Fellowship / Yogoda Sat Sangha (India).
Yogananda also wrote to another devotee;” this is not the end of your relationship with Self-realization Fellowship, but only the beginning…….stay in touch with mother center…..”
Nowhere did He suggest that the devotee would need to seek elsewhere for more lessons and methods, for other teachers and guides etc. In master’s Lessons Course, writings, and examples we have it all!
Even His personal attention and blessings are always with us – He is a “Living Guru.”

A personal Experience with Covid 19. After attending a meeting with a few friends in late 2024, contracted the respiratory infection along with several other persons. Although I had in my possession a supply of “Ivermectin” pills, I decided to see if my immune system would heal the disease. Seeing no improvement after 6 days i applied a simple inexpensive home remedy for 3 evenings which boosted my immune system and cleared my lungs, and left my immune system Stronger than before !!!!!!!!! I just celebrated my 90th birthday several months ago. Kriya yoga and Yogoda exercises are effective and wonderful!

He then comes to the advancing devotee/seeker in vision or form when the time is right!

If one makes a full and proper study of the Christian Gospels and the Holy Bhagavad Gita., you may discover as I did , that although these two Avatars were thousands of years apart their teachings are exactly the same for the similar levels of different cultures which were ready for this most advanced level of spirituality so many years apart. Each prophet did not necessarily bring a more advanced teaching for all of humanity, but often in more primitive times for a particular cultures needs. Now that the world is so fully intermixing, India is bringing a truly universal teaching for a global upgrade……again!
The True picture of what ancient scriptures really means can only be intuitively ascertained by looking at the whole picture of thousands of years of all this worlds spiritual history. Anything less will only keep one bound to dogmatism and the narrowest views of life. No one religion can honestly claim to be the “only way” to live and find salvation from this world of relativity. The “only way” slogan is no more than con.
True UNITY IN DIVERSITY only happens when one does not practice claims of exclusivism and abrogation of previous true Dispensations/scriptures. Group Meditation accelerates ones spiritual transformation and creates a healthy world community of freedom, light, joy, and peace.
