“I am submerged in the Eternal Light,
it permeates every particle of my being.
I live in that Light.
The Divine Spirit fills me within and without.”
by Paramahansa Yogananda (c) SRF LA USA

The Master said; “A master bestows the divine experience of cosmic consciousness when his disciple, by meditation, has strengthened his mind to a degree where the vast vistas would not overwhelm him. The experience can never be given through one’s mere intellectual willingness or open- mindedness. Only adequate enlargement of consciousness by yoga practice and devotional bhakti can prepare the mind to absorb the liberating shock of omnipresence. It comes with a natural inevitability to the sincere devotee. His intense craving begins to pull at God with an irresistible force. “

Note; From then on, the disciple no longer depends upon the master and repeats this experience at his own leisure.
In the Guru -disciple relationship, the guru shows the devotee from the beginning how to achieve true freedom in every way.
Obedience to the Guru is never a “blind”experience. It is both scientific and clear in both reason and feelings.
[The God referred to here, is “That” One Reality “Brahman”.]
Tools for Self-Realization of every type are taught by SRF from Yogananda’s wisdom;
Paramahansa Yogananda did emphasize treating life as a dream plus practicing the Presence of God as effective ways of achieving detachment from influences of the relative [the unreal] world. This is one Yogic method of avoiding unnecessary stress and disappointment during life’s ups and downs and challenges, while recalling our Real nature of spirit.
He tells us it will also develop a great and steady inner calmness [centeredness] that cannot be easily disturbed.
Our attention to the affirmation above will contribute greatly to that goal. …………..Pyislove…………….Namaste/
